An 18-year-old mountaineer has broken multiple records while climbing the world's highest mountains across Nepal and Pakistan.

Nepalese teenager, Nima Rinji Sherpa, has become the youngest mountaineer to climb the 14 highest peaks on the Earth, generally known as the “eight-thousanders”.

An 18-year-old Nepali mountaineer on Wednesday broke the record for the youngest person to summit all 14 of the world's 8,000-metre peaks, his team said.

Nima Rinji Sherpa's team says he's summitted Tibet's Shisha Pangma, completing a record-setting mission to top all 14 of the world's highest peaks.
